The Parish Council has created a document to give guidance on the initial response to events that may transpire, which impact a significant number of residents within the Parish and requires co-ordination with the Emergency Services and local Government Agencies.

The Parish Council received a grant to purchase equipment to assist in an emergency. The 'emergency box' is stored in the village hall and the contents include such items as foil blankets, wind up torches, wind up radio, pens and paper.

The next step is to select 'search the nearby area' and then select 'River Wiske and tributaries'. The Parish Council have been advised that this selection covers Sutton under Whitestonecliffe for flood alerts. Once selected follow the additonal prompts to complete your registration.
