Parish Emergency Information
The Parish Council will review the Emergency Plan document created in 2019, to take into account broader issues of Resilience.
In the event of an emergency affecting a significant number of individuals or dwellings in the village, please contact the national emergency services with information as specific as you can provide without endangering yourself.

The website also prompts you to consider your own household's resilience plans.
The Environment Agency provides local flood alerts. Experience suggests the website is not entirely user-friendly but if you aren't registered, click here to be taken to the relevant web page. Please note, flood alerts are not the same as flood warnings, so after you have entered the relevant information and selected your property, when you see the message 'We do not give flood warnings for this address', select 'search the nearby area' and then select 'River Wiske and tributaries'.
